As of 03/04/11 you can still contact State Farm at (801) 653-2500 (or your local agent) for great motorcycle insurance rates. I, Joanna, will be working in a corporate setting and not directly selling insurance. You can always reach me on my same e-mail address for any questions. Thanks!

\:D/ I have State Farm everything (home, auto, M/C's, Bank, & life Insur,)& there rates cannot be matched by anyone , not even close !

If you noticed Bank, thats correct, & they have some of the lowest rates for cars & especially M/C's out there.

So combine Low Insur. rates & low interest rates, you can't go wrong.
(depending on your credit score)

I tried a local State Farm office for a quote (their office is at the end of my street).

They wouldn't even quote me. They wanted me to have my parents switch their homeowners and their cars before they'd do anything with my bike.

I wasn't pleased.

Never heard of such a thing, I called my agent & this is what she said.

1) Hard to insure M/C only because they feel you drive a car some times(additional liability), but they can do it, but easier if not living with parents.

2) if you drive your Parents cars (if living with your parents) & on there policy could use that as proof you are insured for a car than can write you a policy of your own on your bike, but would need a copy of there plan to prove that.

3) the other agent said what they said, to get worth while business in because a M/C only policy isn't bringing them not much more than chump change. another words they were Jerks !

Now in the nere future you will have your car running & will have insurance on it, than your M/C policy & Car policy will be a little cheaper because of a multi vehicle discount. \:D/

Hope that helps you.

She told me you were asking about insurance for your bike. I'm glad to hear you got a great price! I'm tellin' ya bro, she can that for everyone! ANY agent can be that good, but of course-they aren't.

Safe riding brother. :D

I got state farm for my wifes SV and a week later they sent me a letter saying that the policy will be terminated because I don't have an auto policy with them. My insurance provider (ANPAC) wont cover a SV650 but will a 1050 Speed Triple go figure.

Just figured I would ask. What about out of staters? I know State Farm is a National Insurance agency, but can they do anything if I reside out of state? (currently living in Texas, then New Mexico in October)

Thanks for the info. My rate is $80 less a month full coverage. That is rediculously awesome. Thanks again.
