SUCKS @$#%^&*!
Good freaking lord the traffic through the canyon is ridiculous. One may as well ride through down town SLC, at least there's some good eats to be had there.
<--- is never running Logan Canyon ever again.

You caught it at the wrong time... I hit it last week a few times and 2 of 3 runs were free sailing. The bad run I had on it was Sunday about 4:00-5:00 when all the the recreationers were headed home from their 3 day weekend; that did blow nuts. I actually quite enjoyed it myself, gorgeous scenery and nice turns, just take it on a weekday or sometime when people won't be traveling it as much

I have no love for Logan Canyon. Its mostly pretty boring, the few corners near the bottom are fun, but thats about it. And if you catch it at the wrong time, its nothing short of miserable. I rode it twice this year and before that it had been about five years since I rode it last. If anything its more lame than it was.

for what it's worth, I much preferred it over Monte Cristo. I rode them both on the 24th and really didn't like Monte Cristo, but liked Logan Canyon. The only three memories I took away from Monte Cristo were the image of the back of an ATV trailer, insane amounts of tar snakes, and the 2400 butterflies I murdered up at the higher elevations :-|

Wolf Creek is the best ride in Utah. Besides the occasional herd of sheep it's usually empty.

WolfCreek may very well be the best near the wasatch front, but I assure you, it is not the best in Utah... Maybe top five, but definitely not the best. :)

I agree with Dave. There is much better rides, just not close to SLC.

If I could include Southern Idaho that list would change quite a bit though... :) dp
Delicious,,,,,everyone one of them!!!
And +1 on southern Idaho ;-)

What would be some good ones in So Idaho? Lisa and I want to do some nice day rides together. I was thinking of a nice ride up to bear lake soon.

Totally agreed. Using Torrey as a base you can ride both of these routes and they are both among my favorite roads anywhere. And #5 is right there also. Haven't done that one yet, but I'd sure like to.

Tight technical turns FTW! Which is why most roads in California (say, Sonora Pass - CA-109) is so brilliant. Much higher on the technical scale. dp
